According to authorities, a Wisconsin woman who was employed as a caregiver at a senior living facility is charged with reckless homicide for allegedly pushing a 76-year-old resident so violently that she broke her femur, which ultimately caused her death.
The Ozaukee County District Attorney’s Office has accused Milwaukee resident Abrianna Clark, 27, with second-degree reckless homicide for causing the fatal injury in November 2024 while the victim was under her care at Story Point Senior Living in Mequon.
According to prosecutors, Clark informed her coworkers, “If anybody snitch on me, I’m going to get on that.”
This is one of the incidents that occurred at the facility surrounding the victim’s alleged assault that are detailed in her criminal complaint.
“[The victim] appeared to be fearful of Clark,” according to the complaint.
According to the complaint, Mequon police were called to Story Point on November 14 after receiving a report of “physical abuse to an elderly person in the memory care unit.”
Upon arrival, officers were informed that the victim had been transported to the hospital and treated for a broken femur after reportedly being shoved by Clark on November 7.
According to the complaint, the facility director told police that Clark “had pushed (the victim) to the ground” and later acknowledged doing so, claiming that the victim had “hit her with a ruler, and broke her glasses.”
According to a staff member who also spoke with authorities, Clark allegedly said, “I pushed her,” roughly five times.
According to the complaint, Clark reportedly changed her mind and said she “did not push her” when questioned by police. According to her, the woman fell on her own and was discovered on the restroom floor.

For the alleged incident, Clark was first charged with “physical abuse of elder person — recklessly cause great bodily harm,” according to online court records.
On January 27, authorities were informed that the person had passed away at Story Point. The Ozaukee County Medical Examiner determined that the deceased’s cause of death was “complication of left hip fracture.”
According to court documents, prosecutors filed homicide charges two days prior to dismissing the elder abuse case on May 22.
According to reports, Clark appeared in Ozaukee County court for the first time last Wednesday, when a $12,500 bond was imposed. On June 3, she is scheduled to return to court.
