A First Alert Weather Day will be issued once again on Saturday as a result of the possibility of isolated thunderstorms that are severe to extremely severe.
In the wake of a rainy Friday, which even resulted in a minor tornado in the far southern part of New Jersey, the severe threat for tonight has significantly decreased.
It will be replaced by another cycle of fog, which has the potential to get dense at certain points. The possibility of a storm or stray shower also exists. There is no chance of dipping below the 60s; the lows will be humid and muggy.
Separate storms are a possibility
Storms are expected to resume early on Saturday morning, take a break for the afternoon, and then return during the evening hours. This pattern is expected to continue till nightfall.
The serious threat that occurred on Saturday does not appear to be widespread but rather more limited in its character. In the event that storms do occur, they will be able to produce hail, severe gusts, and torrential downpours that are both swift and intense.
Because of the rapidity with which these storms are predicted to move, it is not anticipated that there will be a significant amount of rainfall overall.
The majority of the sky will be sunny throughout the afternoon break, which will contribute to temperatures rising into the low to mid 80s around the district.
In addition, it will seem slightly oppressive because of the elevated humidity that is present.

The storms have passed by Sunday
