Benefits from the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) will continue to be distributed through May 28, according to USDA. Florida and Texas will be the final two states to offer food stamps.
Only a few paychecks remain in other States, though, and they won’t be deposited until May 17, 2025. Payroll arrangements vary from state to state as well.
As a result, among other things, some SNAP participants might need to verify their case number, Social Security number, or even the initial letter of their last name.
If you are eight years old, your Food Stamp benefits might total up to $1,756. Up to $292 can be given to one individual. Because it influences amounts, household size is important.

On May 10, 2025, a number of states will send the last Food Stamp payments. For instance, the 10th will be the last payday in California, Colorado, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, or Kansas.

In May or June, who might no longer be eligible for SNAP?
If SNAP benefits are about to expire, some recipients may have received a renewal kit. This allows them to continue receiving benefits after their expiration date has passed.
An additional crucial consideration is whether you are a dependent-free, able-bodied adult. In order to receive SNAP benefits for more than three months, ABAWD between the ages of 18 and 54 must work at least 80 hours per month.
After three months of receiving Food Stamps throughout a three-year period, your benefits will end if you don’t meet this condition.
Additional earnings must be reported by recipients since they may have an impact on eligibility or amounts.
