Stolen car crashed in Lansing after Wild Chase across multiple counties; 2 nabbed

A police chase began in Livingston County and concluded in a multi-car crash in Lansing. The Michigan State Police have confirmed the reports of the chase and the crash.

On Wednesday, just before 5:30 p.m., Livingston County police attempted to halt a car they suspected was stolen. According to the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office, the suspicious car refused to stop and fled, with deputies pursuing it.

The chase continued into Ingham County, when local law enforcement authorities joined the chase.

According to Michigan State Police, the suspects crashed the vehicle near the intersection of Cedar and Jolly Roads.

After the crash, the suspects tried to escape on foot. Witnesses saw two males in handcuffs.

The crash involved at least four vehicles.

Multiple agencies responded to the crash, including Lansing Police, Lansing Fire, Brighton Police, and Livingston County Deputies.

The identities of the arrested individuals have not been revealed by the authorities.

There is no word about the injuries sustained by the individuals involved in the crash.
