Police chased a man in a stolen car at high speed through three counties before coming to a stop in Detroit on Friday.
This afternoon, police were observed pursuing through various towns before a collision occurred near Mack and Marlborough. Witnesses reported that two persons were taken into custody.
According to investigators, Kristina Millman-Rinaldi, the creator of the Detroit Dog Rescue, had her 2024 Chevrolet Suburban stolen from her home in West Bloomfield at around 2:30 in the morning. It’s unclear if the individuals who were arrested were also the ones who took the SUV.
A witness, Kevin Martin was there at the time of the arrests.
He remarked, “A lot of police cars pull up,” “They kind of surround the area and they were looking for some people who were running through the alley.”
The inquiry is being conducted by West Bloomfield police in collaboration with Eastpointe and Detroit officials.
