The Temporary Cash Assistance (TCA) program provides a lifeline for many Floridians who are experiencing financial difficulties.
It offers families with young children financial support in an effort to give them stability while they strive for independence.
Families with children under the age of 18 or under 19 if they are still enrolled full-time in secondary school are the target audience for this program.
It also applies to pregnant women, either in the ninth month of pregnancy or in the third trimester if they are unable to work.
You must be a resident of Florida and possess a Social Security number or proof of application in order to apply for TCA benefits.
Additionally, in order for parents, kids, and younger siblings to be eligible for the benefits offered by this program, they must apply jointly.
Adults can get assistance for a maximum of 48 months over their lifetime, which is one of the program’s important features.
