According to authorities, a 13-year-old kid died in Bedford, New Hampshire, after colliding with a stolen delivery vehicle. Just before 1:00 a.m. on Wednesday, Manchester police said they were called to a stolen car report near 5 Clifford Avenue.

The victim, a food delivery man, informed police that his car was gone when he returned after leaving it for a short time.

Police in Manchester reported seeing the stolen vehicle traveling without its headlights on. The officer “lost sight of the vehicle,” according to authorities, and the pursue was canceled on a nearby highway.

The horrifying collision near the Kilton Road on-ramp of Route 101 westbound was reported to Bedford police approximately an hour later.

After being taken to a nearby hospital, the 13-year-old child was declared dead.

According to the police, his passenger was a 14-year-old girl. When good Samaritans heard her screams, located her, and called for assistance, she was brought to a hospital.

Jennifer Chmiel, the superintendent, said the boy attended Southside Middle School in Manchester.

“We are deeply saddened by the loss of one of our students, and our thoughts are with those impacted by this motor vehicle accident,” Chmiel stated. “In addition to our school-based counseling teams, we have brought in additional community resources and grief counselors that will be available at the school.”
