A lady killed and four individuals, including three children, were gravely injured in a two-car incident in Parker County on Friday, April 4, according to Texas Department of Public Safety investigators.
According to the DPS report, Geneva Griffith, 70, of Granbury, died at the scene after her Buick Enclave, which was heading south, crossed the centre line into oncoming traffic.
According to DPS officials, the incident occurred around 6 p.m. on FM 51, half a mile south of Veal Station Road, between Weatherford and Springtown.
Griffith’s Buick collided with a Chevrolet Traverse, gravely injuring all four persons in the SUV, who are from Brock, according to the statement.
According to officials, passengers in the Chevrolet included a 14-year-old boy and girl, a 13-year-old girl, and the driver, an unidentified lady. All four were transported to Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth in critical condition.
