This week’s wettest day was Wednesday, which brought a steady stream of rain to the tri-state area and was the wettest day overall. Despite the fact that the worst may be behind us, you shouldn’t put away the umbrella just yet.
Rain showers are expected to come and go during the course of the next few days. When we finally turn the corner and enjoy the return of sunshine, it is not until the end of the weekend that we experience this.
As we wake up on Thursday morning, the majority of us will be greeted by skies that are gloomy but dry.
There will be no recurrence of the muddy commute that occurred on Wednesday morning on Thursday. The weather is going to be significantly drier, but there will also be a lot of fog.
Despite the fact that Thursday will begin with a rather dry start, it will not be a completely dry day. There is a possibility of isolated showers developing in the afternoon and evening.
You should not anticipate heavy rain, but rather light to moderate showers that will pass over. An umbrella is something you will want to bring with you on this day, but it is not something you will certainly require.
There will be additional scattered showers on Friday and Saturday, particularly in the latter half of the day. This will bring the week to a close. During the heavier showers, there is a possibility that thunder could be produced, but it will be isolated.
Despite the fact that there is a possibility of rain every day until the weekend, the amount of rain that falls will not be sufficient to ruin your day.
The Underground Series will, of course, start on Friday, and there is a possibility that Games 1 and 2 will involve a passing shower or two.
Although it is quite unlikely that the games will be delayed or postponed, you should still be sure to have a baseball cap or poncho with you just in case.

On the other hand, if you have a ticket for the game that will take place on Sunday, you are in excellent shape. Game 3 will be played on significantly drier skies.
When all of the rain that is expected to fall over the next few days is added up, we are looking at less than an inch for everyone.
In spite of the fact that the Hudson Valley is expected to receive some of the greatest totals, the rain will still be relatively manageable in that region.

The majority of the showers have been dispersed over a period of time that is sufficiently long for the ground to have sufficient time to absorb the rain and prevent it from being oversaturated.
Keeping an umbrella close at hand and hoping that you won’t need to use it is the best course of action available.
Even though there will be sporadic showers throughout the rest of the week, we should end up with a far greater amount of dry time than we will have rainy period between now and the weekend.
