On a cycling track in southeast Wisconsin, a biker gets critically injured after colliding with a deer that unexpectedly darted out in front of them.
On Friday, May 2, at around 6:45 p.m., Village of Lannon Police Department officers received a 911 call informing them of a major collision between a deer and a bike.
The cyclist was seriously injured when officers arrived at the scene on the Bugline Trail, just north of West Good Hope Road.
Before being transported to a nearby hospital, the sufferer received treatment on the spot. Officers reported that the victim was still in critical condition as of Friday evening.
There was no information regarding the deer’s condition in the report; the victim was just referred to as a “adult.”
