Authorities in Lake Geneva may arrest a 15-year-old kid after they carried out a search request that purportedly turned up dozens of child pornographic files.
Following a tip from the Wisconsin Department of Justice’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, the Lake Geneva Police Department reports that a search was carried out Monday at a residence in the 1200 block of Madison Street.
The suspect was determined to be a 15-year-old boy. Seventy-three counts of possessing child pornography and one count of possessing virtual child pornography are among the charges that have been referred to the Walworth County Youth Justice system.
According to authorities, as the investigation progresses, further charges might be brought.
Police are not disclosing the suspect’s name because of his advanced age. No other information has been released.
