Mississippi Man Allegedly Steals $100K from High-Rolling YouTuber at Hard Rock

At the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood on Sunday, the authorities have indicated that a guy attempted to withdraw a sum of one hundred thousand dollars that he had stolen from the player’s account of a well-known YouTuber who is famous for placing large wagers on slot machines.

The accused thief, identified as Joseph George Rice, 41, from Ridgeland, Mississippi, was taken into custody by tribal police and charged with various felonies.

He is accused of stealing the six-figure money from Narek Gharibyan, a content producer who is 36 years old and whose NG Slot YouTube channel has more than 700,000 subscribers, according to an arrest complaint filed by the Seminole Police Department.

Gharibyan, who resides in Glendale, California, demonstrates his habit of visiting casinos all across the United States, where he wagers a significant amount of money on slot machines with high limits.

According to the complaint from the San Francisco Police Department, Gharibyan discovered that the six-figure money was missing from his account, and a cashier called the police just after ten o’clock at night as Rice attempted to cash out a slot coupon worth $49,800.

The report, which has been substantially classified, does not include any information regarding how Rice allegedly gained access to the YouTuber’s account.

On the other hand, it does state that Rice was “previously involved in a case” at the Hard Rock in Tampa on January 3, in which he attempted to withdraw $10,000 from the account of another individual by entering a phone number and a personal identification number (PIN) at a gaming machine.

During the course of Rice’s detention, a law enforcement officer reportedly discovered a “scrunched casino slot voucher” in one of his pockets.

It was said that after he granted the cops permission to check his pockets, they discovered three vouchers with a total value of $42,800, $4,500, and $2,900 respectively.

They were the same amounts that had been taken out of Gharibyan’s account, as stated in the report.

After appearing in Broward bond court, Rice is now facing six counts connected to identity theft and possessing stolen identification cards, as well as one case of first-degree grand theft, according to the records of the Broward County Jail.

Rice, who was photographed by the Broward Sheriff’s Office with a bloodied and black eye of unknown origin, was being held at the North Broward Bureau detention facility of the Broward Sheriff’s Office on a bond of $97,000, according to the documents.
