Following a collision that occurred on the southbound lanes of Interstate 275 and West Huron River Drive in Wayne County, a woman who was 25 years old was thrown from her Jeep and died as a result of her injuries.
Patrol officers from the Michigan State Police arrived at the scene.
Immediately following the collision with the center bridge abutment, they discovered the jeep in the center median on Monday (April 21), which had sustained significant damage to the front end.
The driver was the only person living in the vehicle, according to the police, and she was pronounced deceased at the spot.
Investigation by the MSP is still ongoing.
