A K-9 officer from the Emery County Sheriff’s Office discovered a quantity of methamphetamine that was close to 110 pounds, as well as many kilogrammes of a purported “white-colored powder.”
“Dak warmed up with an Easter egg hunt and then went to work,” the sheriff’s office said.
While out with a sheriff’s deputy, Dak apparently gave a positive indication that there were drugs in a vehicle.
There were three kilogrammes of a “white-colored powder” and 107 pounds of methamphetamine that were found inside the house.
“We do not field test white-colored powder anymore due to the danger of accidental exposure from fentanyl,” according to the sheriff’s department’s statement.
