Authorities reported that after a traffic check in Wisconsin, a driver and passenger were recently taken into custody on several drug-related crimes.
At 1:11 a.m. on April 29, deputies pulled over a car on State Highway 60 in the Township of Wauzeka, according to a statement from the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office.
The vehicle’s driver, Kenneth Lippitt, 59, of Footville, was discovered to be operating a vehicle with a revoked license and exhibiting symptoms of drug-related impairment.
After that, according to officials, a K9 from the Richland County Sheriff’s Office was used to warn that the car contained one or more controlled narcotics.
After searching the car, deputies discovered and confiscated hypodermic needles containing liquid methamphetamine as well as drug paraphernalia.
The following accusations led to Lippitt’s arrest:
- Operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of a restricted controlled substance (2nd Offense)
- Operating while revoked
- Possession of methamphetamine
- Possession of methamphetamine paraphernalia
Debra Anderson, 54, of Broadhead, was also said to have been arrested as a passenger in the car on suspicion of possessing methamphetamine paraphernalia.
