Law school season 1 premiered on JTBC on April 14, 2021. The episodes were aired every Wednesday and Thursday at 21:00 KST. Post the television premiere; the series was made available on Netflix for worldwide viewers. Season one featured 16 episodes with a run time of 60-65 minutes. Till now, there has been no official confirmation regarding the renewal or cancellation of season 2.
However, seeing the viewership gained from the first season, the stakes are high that it might be renewed for a season 2. The third episode of season one attracted 1.52 million views, and the season was ranked among the top-rated television programs in Korea. The filming of season one began in fall 2020. Law school season 1 featured Kim Myung min, Kim bum, Ryu hye young, and Lee Jung Eun in the titular roles. In the series, Kim Myung min essayed Yang jong hoon, Kim bum as Han Joon hwi, An Seong won as young Joon hwi, Ryu hye young as Kang Sol A, Lee Jung Eun as Kim Eun sook.

The drama revolved around discovering facts, exploring law, and the quest for justice by aspiring lawyers. If there is a season 2, it will showcase professor yang and his students using their legal knowledge to solve cases. Chances are also that the new season would introduce the viewers to a fresh storyline with new teachers and students. However, fans have to wait till an official announcement is released either from the showrunners or Netflix regarding the possibility and plot of season two.
