Creating a Google My Business account is by far the fast and easiest method out there to kick start the process of promoting your business online. Works great for local businesses as it allows your business to show up on Google Maps, in your local listings, and on the knowledge panel when you search on google.  The quickest way to get your listing to the top is to verify that you own that particular business via your Google My Business Account.

2. Use Social Media Extensively

Building a community online is another great and free way to help grow your business. Consistent social media engagement will increase trust amongst your customers and give you a worldwide platform to express your brand’s personality.  Posting ads online is another great way to let people know about your business. There are millions of Ad designs available online to get you started or inspire you to create something unique to your brand.

3. Use Hashtags!

Hashtags are a powerful tool that should be used generously in your social media posts to broaden your reach and help your presence grow organically. You should be using them on Tiktok, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and Linkedin.

You can find a ton of ad templates online, which are completely free to use, along with free versions of video editors to create some amazing content to help market your small business.

You can post behind the scene videos of how you run your business. This will help you gain the trust of your customers. You can post product demos or instructional videos using your products and explain all their features. Try to finish your videos with a CTA to encourage people to interact with your business.

10. Reuse and Recycle Old Content

All the content you come with to promote your business does take a lot of time and effort. So rather than just letting them be one-hit wonders, you can always reuse them on various platforms. For example, you can split one long youtube video into multiple informational snippets for platforms such as Instagram or TikTok. You can use content from your blogs and relevant infographics you have created and curate them into an ebook. The possibilities are endless.
