During what firemen in Rockville referred to as a “well-involved basement fire” on Saturday afternoon, a man sustained grave injuries, including burns, and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
At 12:52 p.m., fire units arrived due to a fire that was located at 101 E. Main. Hurricane Valley Fire Battalion Chief Tyler Ames stated that one of the inhabitants was outside the residence and had received significant burn and blast injuries. The individual was pronounced dead at the scene.
Following the provision of medical care by paramedics at the scene, the individual was subsequently flown by medical helicopter to the burn unit of a hospital in Las Vegas.
The home sustained severe damage as a result of the fire, as stated by the incident commander who was present at the scene. There was no damage damage estimate available. According to Ames, an investigation is currently being conducted to determine what caused the incident.
