During the destruction caused by a tornado in Mississippi, a story that will warm your heart has been unfolding.
Curtis Bush was working on the road when an EF-4 tornado destroyed his home in Tylertown. His wife and son, who was 17 years old at the time, were inside praying that they would not perish and clinging to life while wearing motorcycle helmets because they were trying to survive.
The tremendous force of the storm tore the walls of their house away from the foundation, which resulted in the two people being forcibly flung over a hundred yards.
It caused them to sustain several fractured bones, which necessitated their stay in the hospital for more than a week.
During the struggle, one of the family dogs did not make it through. Linus, a golden lab who was 11 years old, was one of the other dogs that miraculously managed to escape alive but could not be located for whatever reason.
After receiving more assistance from other people, the search continued for nearly two weeks.
This included the assistance that Jason Miller provided to Raven 6 Rising, a company that provides agricultural support through the utilisation of a network of drones.

Miller is most known for his work as a cameraman and photographer for television shows that make use of drones. In addition, Miller uses thermal drones to assist in reuniting families with their lost pets.
In order to assist in the search and rescue operations, Miller utilised his thermal drones to search for heat signatures in the surrounding area.
It took seven hours for the drone to make its search for Linus. Given the amount of destruction that had occurred in the region, it was like trying to find a needle in a haystack.
“I knew it was going to be a challenge,” Miller stated. “Because there is so much destruction, there is so much metal, concrete, and broken trees everywhere. All of those objects give heat signatures.”
At long last, after an intense search, the unbelievable news arrived: Linus was discovered alive close to a Dollar General store, approximately one thousand yards away from the location where his previous residence had been located.
The news that Linus is making good progress in his recuperation was distributed by Bush.
There is a long road ahead for the family and the community to recover, but the return of a family member can help lessen the sorrow that they are experiencing.
