The suspect clipped a motorcycle that wasn’t part of the chase during it. Police said the rider was not critically injured despite being checked out for injuries.
The suspect bailed out of the car on Blodgett Street after continuing to drive into the Third Ward.
Officers and a K9 were able to catch up with him when a police helicopter tracked him down.
One of the policemen was bitten by the K9 after the subject was taken down. The officer was all right.
Numerous key fobs and an equipment for cloning key fobs were discovered by investigators searching the stolen vehicle.
